Stayco is the trading name of W.S.H.Taylor Engineering Limited. The Company was founded in 1998 by Stuart Taylor to design and manufacture vehicle access steps for the minibus and van conversion market. The Company has produced many thousands of electric and manual steps since starting full production in 2001. These are exclusively sold and distributed through a third party under their own brand name. In 2002, the Company broadened its product range with a heavy duty electric window winder for the fire and security market. Additional facilities were installed in 2003 to manufacture wire looms and harnesses followed by a further facility in 2004 to produce pcb based products. These include motor control units, warning buzzers and milli-amp triggered relay switches. More recently in 2008 the
Company launched its own designed geared electric motor under the new Stayco brand name.
